Information Notice

As required by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), we are providing to you important information relating to our status, the processing fee we charge and our cancellation charges.

Alpha Contracts Leasing Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Our Firm Reference Number is 671136. You can check this on the Financial Services Register by visiting the FCA’s website at www.fca.org.uk or by contacting the contact centre on 0800 111 6768.

Our registered office is Stable View, Hackleton, Northampton, NN7 2AW.

We are a vehicle finance broker for both regulated & unregulated contract hire and consumer credit finance. We are a credit broker and not a lender.

We charge a processing fee of £208.33 + VAT Total £250.00 for our Brokering Services. This represents the costs incurred in ordering your vehicle with our nominated supplying dealer. This fee is payable once finance approval has been received and on signing of the order form.

If you were to cancel your order, we may also charge a cancellation fee for our brokering services as set out in our Terms of Business up to the value of £208.33 + VAT for services rendered. This does not affect your right to cancel your finance agreement within any cooling off period.

This will be requested within 14 days of a cancellation notice being received by us and will be payable by Bank Transfer to Alpha Contracts Leasing Ltd within 14 days of the charge request being received by the client.

Pre-registered vehicles.

Pre-registered vehicles may need a service 12 months from the registration date. You will be required to service the vehicle in line with the manufacturer’s guidance, even on a 12-month contract.

Roadside Assistance, is provided 1 year from date of vehicle registration (unless otherwise stated).

Suitability.

Please note: It is your responsibility to research the vehicle choice, colour, specification, size and suitability before signing this order.  We are happy to discuss any other options if you are in any doubt.

Disclosure of Broker’s Commission.        

As your broker, we are required to disclose any commission received from lenders with whom we arrange finance agreements on your behalf. The amount of commission we earn will be disclosed on the legal contracts sent to you by the lender.  Our fee is reflective of the work undertaken, advertising the finance, negotiating terms with manufacturers & dealers to provide you with the best offering. We then arrange your chosen finance option, submit the proposal to the lender to arrange the credit, source the vehicle required and arrange delivery. The Alpha Contracts sales and customer service team are also here to support you throughout the life of your contract.
