The latest model Hyundai are adding to the line up has been announced as the Ioniq 3 is a compact, forward-thinking “Aero Hatch” designed to make electric motoring more accessible. Blending impressive efficiency, a practical driving range of over 300 miles, fast charging, and generous luggage space, it delivers a well-rounded package for everyday family use.

Design & Exterior
Developed around Hyundai’s “Art of Steel” design philosophy, the Ioniq 3 features a sleek, aerodynamic profile with a low drag coefficient of 0.26, distinctive pixel-inspired lighting, and a coupe-like silhouette. An optional N Line variant enhances its visual appeal with a more aggressive body kit and larger rear spoiler.
Battery & Range
The Ioniq 3 is available with two battery options:
- Standard Range: 42.2 kWh LFP battery, delivering a WLTP range of approximately 208–214 miles.
- Long Range: 61 kWh NMC battery, offering a WLTP range of more than 308 miles.
Charging
Built on a 400V electrical architecture, both battery versions support rapid charging from 10% to 80% in under 30 minutes. The model also benefits from class-leading 22 kW AC charging capability, making it particularly convenient for destination and public charging locations.
Performance
The front-wheel-drive powertrain produces between 133 and 147 bhp, providing responsive and efficient performance ideally suited to urban and suburban driving.
Interior & Technology
Hyundai describes the cabin as a “Furnished Space,” drawing inspiration from 1970s Italian furniture design. Inside, drivers benefit from the Android-based Pleos Connect infotainment platform, displayed through either a 12.9-inch or 14.6-inch touchscreen, alongside practical storage solutions and a surprisingly spacious boot.
