Leasing a car for the first time can be an exciting and convenient way to get behind the wheel of your dream car without the long-term commitment of ownership. In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps of leasing your first car, making the entire process as smooth as driving on a freshly paved road. Understanding Car and Van Leasing
Let's start with the basics. Car and Van leasing is essentially a long-term vehicle rental, typically starting from 18 months with a maximum contract of 60 months. You pay a fixed monthly fee to use the car, and at the end of the lease term, we book collection and you return it to the leasing company. Here's how you can get started:
Step 1: Set Your Budget
Before you start browsing our extensive collection of lease cars, it's crucial to determine your budget. Consider how much you can comfortably afford to pay each month. Remember that leasing often requires a lower down payment than buying, making it an attractive option for many.
Step 2: Explore Our Car Lease Deals
This is the best part! Explore our special offers and discover the wide range of makes and models from various manufacturers. Whether you're into electric cars, eco-friendly hybrids, spacious SUVs or Vans we have options to suit every taste and lifestyle.
Step 3: Check Your Eligibility
Before proceeding, it's essential to check your eligibility for car leasing. You'll need a valid driving license, proof of income, and a good credit score. This part can normally take 24 hours to get the finance in place.
Step 4: Finance approved!
Great, the finance is all approved. We will then send you the vehicle order for you to carefully review and sign so we can order the vehicle for you! You will then be sent a link to pay the vehicle sourcing fee of £208.33+vat/£250inc Vat
Step 5: Official contracts
The official contracts are then emailed to you to e-sign. This will go into all of the terms and conditions on the vehicle lease you have chosen. Take time to read and ensure you understand the terms and conditions, including mileage limits and maintenance responsibilities.
Step 6: Signed documents to start the cooling off period
Once you're satisfied with the terms and have signed the contract, this will start your cooling off period if you are a personal customer.
Step 7: Delivery
Now for the best bit, delivery! On the day of delivery the driver will contact you on route with an ETA. You will be asked for proof of ID and to check around the vehicle! Once you have signed the delivery note you have your new vehicle! Exciting!
