CONTRACT HIRE

Contract Hire is the ultimate leasing arrangement - offering a total peace of mind package to business car users from one vehicle to a total fleet without an immense administrative burden.

Effectively it is an all inclusive operating package that enables you to control vehicle costs and budget ahead with a contract term from 18 months up to 48 months. With the changes in the tax rules in recent years, it is for many companies the best method in which to fund vehicles.

WHAT IS CONTRACT HIRE?
Contract Hire is the leasing of a vehicle for a set period at a fixed monthly cost. The choice of vehicle, and the contract hire term is entirely flexible to meet your needs. The monthly charge (or rental) is governed by the initial cost of the vehicle, the length of the contract, the mileage covered, the services taken and the overall depreciation of the vehicles value (the difference between the initial cost and the estimated proceeds of the sale at the end).

CONTRACT PURCHASE

Simply, a combination of Lease Purchase and the service options of Contract Hire. This option has been designed specifically for customers who are unable to register for VAT or who are partially VAT exempt.

Alpha Contracts purchase the vehicle of your choice, having agreed on a contract term, annual mileage, service options, guaranteed option to purchase price and the monthly rental. On termination of the contract you can choose either to return the vehicle or to purchase it at the agreed option to purchase price written into the contract.

LEASE PURCHASE

As the name implies, Lease Purchase combines the ultimate ownership benefits of Hire Purchase with the favourable cash flow advantages for businesses that are not VAT registered.

With this method you have an option to take ownership of the vehicle at the end of the contract. By not paying back all the capital during the course of the agreement you can choose to leave a balance at the end of the contract. This is a BALLOON PAYMENT.

Alpha Contracts purchase the vehicle of your choice, having agreed on a contract term, monthly rental and a mutually acceptable option to purchase price.

At the end of the contract you pay the final rental and then own the vehicle. Alternatively Alpha Contracts can sell the vehicle, and the sale proceeds are offset against the option to purchase price, you receive the surplus cash benefit.

FINANCE LEASE

Finance Lease allows you to pay for the use of the vehicle as aposed to owning it. At the end of the lease period you control the eventual sale of the vehicle and sell the vehicle to an independent third party and retain 98% of the sale proceeds.

Alpha Contracts purchase the vehicle of your choice, having agreed on a contract term, monthly rental and a mutually acceptable final payment.

At the end of the contract you pay the final rental and retain 98% of the sale proceeds. Alternatively Alpha Contracts can sell the vehicle, and the sale proceeds are offset against the final payment and you will receive any surplus cash benefit.
